Major developments in Brum

As well as Ladywood, Druids Heath and Langley, which are among the largest housing projects in the city, there is a wider pipeline of housing projects. Birmingham is seeking to bring forward a substantial programme of housing sites to meet the growing housing needs in the city. This includes delivering modern, energy efficient homes, an increase in affordable homes, and creating new communities.

Schemes include more than 6,000 homes at Digbeth across a range of sites and schemes, 3,400 homes at Smithfield, 2,100 homes at Park Birmingham, more than 2,200 homes at Perry Barr across phases 1, 2 and 2a and over 500 homes at Icknield Port Loop.
