Smithfield: City centre regeneration
Smithfield features a dynamic cultural area around a new market square, linking to the city’s rich heritage. The site is with the Enterprise Zone. Infrastructure work and construction of Phase 1 is due to begin in 2026. Most building plots are expected to be constructed by 2035.
